Batman looks to sell through the 2 million mark.It’s not exactly surprising when a licensed game sells well, but it’s a shock when the title sells throught the roof and it is a critical darling. For Eidos, that’s exactly what Batman: Arkham Asylum has turned out to be.
According to the L.A. Times, the Rocksteady developed title has already sold “nearly two million units.” Considering that the title has been available for just over a month, and already set a Guiness World Record, you better believe it’s going to break that barrier in the coming weeks. If not, then there’s always the upcoming holiday season to push the title over the edge.
Hopefully now, after Batman has managed to reinvigorate Eidos, other developers and publishers will realize the untapped potential thaat companies possess when bidding on, and winning, the latest hot license.
