Just in case you don’t already own the ‘classic’ Sonic games several times over already, it seems Sega is to release yet another Sonic Collection according to a new rating from the BBFC.
The rating, which you can view here, gives the following details of the upcoming collection:

- n/a KNUCKLES IN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 (GAME)
- n/a KNUCKLES IN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 (GAME)
- 00:00:45:00 SONIC CHRONICLES – THE DARK BROTHERHOOD (VIDEO)
- 00:03:05:00 THE HISTORY OF SONIC (VIDEO) n/a SONIC ART (IMAGE GALLERY)
- 00:05:15:00 SONIC CLASSIC COLLECTION CREDITS n/a GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE
Given the lack of any real extra content and the inclusion of a ‘Sonic Chronicles‘ video, signs point this to being a DS release. Which would make sense as it is the only console this generation not receive a port/collection of the Sonic Genesis/Megadrive titles. Well, technically neither has the Wii but it does have the Sonic Mega and Gems Collections available via backwards compatibility.
