Capcom has just revealed four more new characters who are scheduled to appear in the upcoming and highly anticipated Marvel vs. Capcom 3, according to Game Informer magazine.
The four new characters confirmed are: Devil May Cry’s Dante, Darkstalker’s Felicia and Marvel’s Captain America and Deadpool. Previously Capcom had confirmed that Iron Man, Hulk, Ryu, Morrigan, Wolverine and Chris Redfield are going to be in the game.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will feature a control scheme similar to that of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, so the game can be more accessible to players, but will still retain advanced features like Hyper Combos, Snapback and assists.
Other features included will be, simplified launch attacks performed with one button, the “Exchange Button”. And the ability to counter launch attacks by guessing the correct exchange move to input at the same time as the other opponent.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be rendered in HD, and will feature Street Fighter IV (PS3/360) type visuals with the signature 2D style fighting and characters.
Capcom will provide more information on Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in the coming months, with the game scheduled for release on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 in spring 2011.
